The NAdB Welcomes Jammin’ Jimmy Olson and JJO Radio Group
The National Association of Digital Broadcasters (NAdB) is proud to welcome Texas radio legend Jammin’ Jimmy Olson and his JJO Radio Group (KJJO-DB) as the organization’s newest member.
A longtime favorite at stations in Houston (including KRBE, KHYS, KBXX, KMJQ, KXTJ and KTHT), Dallas (KHYI), Corpus Christi (KJKC); Lufkin (KAFX) and Tyler (KLJT), Jammin’ Jimmy brings his unbounded enthusiasm and community activism to KJJO-DB, which broadcasts around the world from Houston and offers his trademarked mix of “Entertainment, Hit Music and Pranks.”
JJO Radio is programmed with separate blocks of current Hit Music and Country Hits.
Jammin’ Jimmy has an active and energetic presence on social media, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, which are important tools in helping to promote the many charitable events he is involved with.
Those events include a Spring Food Drive that begins this week in Tyler, as well as his annual “Ton Of Toys” toy drive and “Stuffing The Bus” school supply drive.
For his many good works in and around Houston, this past February 8 was declared Jimmy Olson Day by the city’s mayor in recognition of his four decades in radio and his efforts to help local families through his JJO Charities.
